SICA aims to support projects that explore the intersection between creativity and spirituality. This can take many forms, and involve big projects. While SICA may not be able to support your project with large cash grants, there are other ways we can help bring your vision to life.

SICA is a not-for-profit charity, and as such has a wide selection of grants which we can draw on. With many grants, individuals are not able to apply for funding directly. They can receive funding for their project however by being auspiced by an organisation able to receive funding – usually a not-for-profit. This means that SICA is able to apply for grants on your behalf, and pass on the money once received. The grants can be for much larger amounts than $500. Depending on the project, an auspiced grant could be for $20,000, $40,000, or higher.

While applicants still need to do the work, SICA is able to help with this process. This includes:

  • Auspicing your grant application – this means you have access to grants usually only available to not-for-profit organisations.
  • Providing help finding grants
  • Helping ‘decipher’ what the grant panel is after, and the best way for you to apply
  • Providing advice about supporting material
  • Providing feedback about your project budget
  • Reviewing all documents before submittal of your grant application
